Where the streets have no names (literally.) Our address at the Managua house:
Barrio Altagracia Gasolinera vieja de Nemesio Porras cuadra y media. (Translation: Altagracia barrio a block and a half from the old NP gas station)

FYI...Nemesio Porras gasolinera is not the current name of the station and there are no numbers on the houses.

In December 5th 1997, more than 170 left-wing rebels have given up their weapons at the start of the demobilization of Nicaragua's last recognized guerrilla movement. Members of the Andres Castro United Front (FUAC) surrendered their guns at a ceremony in the village of Cua-Bocay, 260 kilometers (190 miles) north-east of Managua, watched by military officers, international peace monitors, journalists and other FUAC supporters. The weapons were then burned. Under a peace accord signed on Wednesday about 300 other rebels will disarm in two more phases this month. The pro-Sandinista FUAC is one of a number of right and left-wing rebel bands which took up arms in Nicaragua since the end of the war between the Sandinista government and American-backed Contra rebels in 1990.
